Job Objective
The Executive Director (ED) provides overall leadership to the organization of Onesimo Bulilit. He or she casts the organizational vision, develops the organization and its programs towards the best interest of its clientele, and empowers the team to reach the organizational goals and objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic planning and development, in partnership with the Board of Trustees
- Develop the organization in line with the strategic plans and goals.
- Ensure the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the programs
- Provide spiritual leadership for the team and the organization and leadership by example as a follower of Jesus
- Responsible for human resources, staff development, and supervision of the management team
- Responsible for financial planning and monitoring as well as facilities management
- Responsible for compliance with the requirements and regulations of the government
- Represent the organization and ensure proper communication with donors and other stakeholders
- Provide Board administration and support
Qualifications
Candidate has:
- A heart for children of the streets and their families and a desire to positively contribute to their lives
- A desire to follow Jesus among the most marginalized
- Vast working experience in social welfare and development work
- Proven leadership skills and extended experience in a similar context
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably graduate of Social Work or related field
Place of Work:
Quiapo, Manila and field (currently streets of Quiapo and Tondo)
(2) Registered Social Worker
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Social Work
- Preferably with a license
- Single or Married; 22-30 years old; preferably female
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Supervision
- Has facilitation skills and can handle people.
- Fluency in English essential; uncompromising confidentiality, good interpersonal, coaching skills communication, and writing skills.
- Good decision-making skills
- Evangelical Christian and with good moral character
- Team player, demonstrating determination, resourcefulness, and purpose to deliver the best results for the organization.

Quiapo, and Tondo Manila
(2) Registered Teacher
Qualification
- Graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education or Secondary Education
- Preferably with a license
- Single or Married; 22-30 years old
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Teaching
- Has facilitation skills and can handle people.
- Evangelical Christian and with good moral character
- Team player, demonstrating determination, resourcefulness, and purpose to deliver the best results for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tutorials according to the needs of the student/children.
- Supervise all children/students visiting and coming for tutorials.
- Assists the student in doing their assignments and school projects.
- Monitors the progress of each student.
- Conducts 1:1 talks with students, as needed.
- Keeps attendance and a logbook on the progress of children and daily incidents in the student center.
- Conducts home/school visits, in coordination with the Social Worker, as scheduled.
- Records all significant observations on children.
- Suggests interventions for the children.
- Monitors and coordinates the daily implementation and operation of the Student Center.
- Recommends on program development to the Executive Director.
- Coordinates and facilitates unit meetings of the team to review achievements and constraints encountered.
- Present/promotes the organization’s mission, program, and service to relevant, prospective, and potential donors and stakeholders.
(2) House Parent
Qualification
- (1) Male and (1) Female
- Preparably highschool and college level
- Single or Married; 25-40 years old
- At least 2-5 years of experience in child rearing
- Teachable, dependable, and submissive to leadership.
- Evangelical Christian and with good moral character
- Team player, demonstrating determination, resourcefulness, and purpose to deliver the best results for the organization.
- Has facilitation skills and leads activities such as group devotions, etc.
- Skills in verbal and written communication skills
- A heart and skills in fostering an environment conducive to personal and spiritual growth. A heart and skills in helping children to come closer to God
- Good decision-making skills
- Willing to be trained and hone her/his knowledge and skills in child growth and development
- A team player
